Overview
This experiment shows how a comparator can be used to control a light based on a threshold value.
Components Required
- Comparator (e.g., LM339)
- Light bulb or LED
- Resistors
- Power supply
- Breadboard and wires
Procedure
1. Connect the comparator with a reference voltage and an input signal.
2. The comparator will switch the light on or off depending on whether the input signal exceeds the reference voltage.
Expected Result
The light will turn on or off based on the input signal threshold, controlled by the comparator.
