Overview
This experiment demonstrates how a non-inverting op-amp buffer can be used to provide impedance matching without amplifying the signal.
Components Required
- Op-Amp IC (e.g., LM741)
- Resistors
- Power supply
- Signal source (e.g., function generator)
- Breadboard and wires
Procedure
1. Connect the op-amp in a non-inverting configuration with the input signal.
2. Observe the output, which should be the same as the input but with no amplification.
Expected Result
The output signal will be identical to the input but with higher input impedance.
