High-Side Switching with Transistors

Overview

This experiment demonstrates high-side switching using a transistor to control a load connected to the positive rail.

Components Required

• Transistor (e.g., NPN or PNP)
• Resistors
• Load (e.g., lamp or motor)
• Power supply
• Breadboard and wires

Procedure

1. Connect the load in series with the transistor and power supply.

2. Use the base of the transistor to control the switching of the load.

Expected Result
