Experiment 46: Debugging DAC Output Signals

Objective: Test and analyze the performance of Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs).

Steps:

  1. Connect a DAC to a microcontroller.
  2. Generate test waveforms (sine, square, triangle) and send them to the DAC.
  3. Observe the analog output on an oscilloscope and compare it to expected waveforms.

Expected Outcome:

Identify distortion or nonlinearity in DAC output and calibrate as necessary.
